This so-called race is in my opinion, a Phantasm, that only exists in people’s mind and I would wager that this Phantasm chiefly exists, it seems in India- which is looking at China with a mixture of envy and jealousy.
So no harm for Indians to “copy” the technology obtained by sweat and tears and expense of billions of dollars or rubles over decades by the big Two.
